Full job descriptionRG Consultancy are working with a successful growing manufacturing business located in Crewe who are recruiting a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a brand-new role created role created to support the Finance Manager with the day-to-day management of the finance department

Role responsibilities
*Production of monthly management accounts and financial reports
*Support budgeting, forecasting and regular variance analysis
*Monitor costs, margins and key performance indicators
*Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations and supporting schedules
*Assist with improving financial processes, systems and internal controls
*Work closely with the wider business to provide financial insight
*Support year-end procedures and audit requirements
*Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to the Finance Manager as needed
*Support with training and development of an Accounts Assistant
Person specification
*Proven experience working as an assistant management accountant or a management accountant for 2+ years
*CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or actively studying to become fully qualified
*Strong systems and IT skills, including advanced MS excel skills
*Experience working within a manufacturing business would be an advantage
*Experience of leading or overseeing a small accounts team would be an advantage but not essential
