Job Description:
Michael Page are partnering with an exciting business based in Stoke who are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join them ASAP, initially on an interim basis.
Client Details
A well established business based in Stoke.
Description
*Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments are received.
*Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and queries efficiently.
*Prepare and issue invoices, statements, and reminders in line with company procedures.
*Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and communications.
*Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
*Provide regular updates to management on outstanding debts and payment trends.
*Assist in the review and improvement of credit control processes.
*Support the wider accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
*Proven experience in accounting and finance, particularly within credit control.
*Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
*Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
*The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
*Problem-solving skills to address and resolve account issues promptly.
