Description
*Prepare and manage financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
*Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
*Analyse financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
*Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
*Monitor and reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
*Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports.
*Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
*Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial transparency and accuracy.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
*A recognised accounting qualification or relevant degree in finance or accounting.
*Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
*Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
*Experience in the Energy & Natural Resources industry is advantageous but not essential.
Job Offer
*Competitive daily rate ranging from £300 to £350.
*25 days of annual leave (pro-rata).
