Jackson Hogg is working with a key client in Stockton who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant into their finance team. You will support senior stakeholders with high-quality financial information and play a central part in the month-end process across multiple business units and/or client entities.
The role:*Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts across assigned divisions/entities
*Producing accurate, insightful financial information for board-level and budget holder use
*Partnering with operational management and financial stakeholders, providing regular updates and analysis
*Ownership of sales and purchase ledger processes, including debt management
*Supporting and overseeing junior team members
*Leading on month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations
*Preparation of statutory accounts, including audit support where required
*Acting as a key contact for external auditors
*Supporting cashflow management, forecasting and VAT returns
About you:*Fully qualified (ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent)
*Proven experience producing management accounts and financial reporting packs
*Strong technical accounting knowledge, including reconciliations and month-end processes
*Ability to deliver clear financial insights and build relationships with stakeholders
*Confident working both independently and as part of a wider team
