The RoleAs a History Teacher, you will inspire students to explore historical events, understand different perspectives, and develop critical thinking skills. You will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons that encourage curiosity and academic achievement while helping students build a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Key Responsibilities*Plan and deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages.
*Inspire students to understand historical events and perspectives.
*Encourage analytical thinking, discussion, and independent learning.
*Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and attainment.
*Support students in preparation for assessments and examinations.
*Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
*Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental initiatives and school activities.
Requirements*QTS or QTLS certification.
*PGCE or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*Strong subject knowledge and passion for History education.
*Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
*Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
*ECTs/NQTs are encouraged to apply.
