The RoleAs an English Teacher, you will play a key role in helping students develop strong literacy, communication, and analytical skills. You will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that encourage a love for reading and learning while supporting students in achieving academic success.
This role is ideal for experienced teachers as well as ECTs/NQTs looking to develop their career within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities*Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages.
*Inspire students to develop confidence in reading, writing, and critical thinking.
*Prepare students for assessments and examinations, ensuring strong academic progress.
*Assess, monitor, and report on student performance and development.
*Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning.
*Collaborate with colleagues and wider school staff to enhance student outcomes.
*Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives.
Requirements*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
*PGCE or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*Strong subject knowledge and passion for English education.
*Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
*Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
*ECTs/NQTs are encouraged to apply.
