The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students with Special Educational Needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a safe and inclusive learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a meaningful difference in education.
Key Responsibilities*Provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with SEN.
*Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
*Support students’ academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and social development.
*Adapt classroom resources and activities to meet individual learning needs.
*Encourage positive behaviour and classroom participation.
*Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and SEN staff.
*Attend relevant training sessions and contribute to team meetings.
Requirements*Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
*A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills.
*Passion for supporting children with additional learning needs.
*Relevant qualifications or SEN training are beneficial but not essential.
