Full job descriptionDistinct is working with a large, successful business based in Leeds with a global footprint, that is continuing to grow internationally. They are looking to recruit a Senior Group Financial Accountant to join it’s growing group finance team.
This role is suited to a technically strong, chartered accountant ideally from a practice background.
You’ll be joining a collaborative and dynamic team in a fast-paced group function. The environment suits someone who wants responsibility, clear development, and exposure to varied work.
The role:
*This role will involve the delivery of group reporting, which will include:
*Preparing annual statutory and group accounts.
*Responsible for consolidating P&L and cashflows.
*Assist with the preparation of annual statutory group consolidations.
*Review integrity of balance sheet in line with group policies.
*Contribute to delivery of the year-end audit.
*Driving process improvement and supporting group finance projects.
What they’re looking for:
*Qualified chartered accountant, ideally from a practice background (ACA / ACCA).
*Exposure to large, complex international organisations would be desirable.
*Comfortable working with Excel and accounting systems.
