SEND EHC Plan Writer - Cheshire West and Chester
Location: Cheshire West and Chester
Working Arrangements: Hybrid Working
Hours per week: 37 Hours per Week
Contract: Initial 3-Month Contract (potential extension up to 9 months)

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced SEND EHC Plan Writer to join a local authority team within Cheshire West and Chester.
This is a full-time hybrid opportunity supporting the delivery of high-quality Education, Health and Care Plans for children and young people with SEND.

Key Responsibilities:*Draft and amend Education, Health and Care Plans in line with statutory requirements
*Ensure plans are person-centred, outcome-focused, and completed within timescales
*Liaise with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals
*Review professional reports and incorporate recommendations into EHC Plans
*Support annual reviews and plan updates where required
*Maintain accurate records and case documentation
Requirements:*Previous EHC Plan writing experience is essential
*Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and EHCP processes
*Excellent written communication and organisational skills
*Ability to manage a busy caseload and work to deadlines
*Local authority experience desirable
