Job Description:
Full job descriptionSALT is supporting a large UK-based corporate organisation seeking temporary front-of-house cover.
This is a temporary, ad hoc Receptionist role providing front-of-house and facilities support at a busy UK head office.
The role exists to ensure a professional, welcoming visitor experience and smooth day-to-day reception operations during periods of cover.
You’ll work closely with onsite teams including facilities, security, and office stakeholders.
KEY CONTRACT DETAILS
*Ad-hoc working days when required
*On-site working in Reading
*£18.00 per hour, paid via PAYE umbrella
WHAT YOU’LL DO
*Act as the first point of contact, answering and directing incoming calls via an in-house switchboard.
*Meet, greet, and register visitors, issuing and recording access passes accurately.
*Maintain a professional and presentable reception and meeting room environment.
*Manage meeting room bookings and liaise with catering for hospitality requirements.
*Handle deliveries, post, couriers, and loading bay access.
*Support facilities administration including stationery orders, stock checks, and copier supplies.
ABOUT YOU
*Proven experience in reception or office administration roles.
*Confident user of Microsoft Office applications.
*Strong telephone, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
*Highly organised, able to multitask in a fast-paced, front-facing environment.
*Professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach.
*Rates depend on experience and client requirements
