Burgess Hill
£25,000 – £30,000 DOE
Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
Immediate Start Available | Temporary Contract | Potential Temp-to-Perm
We are urgently recruiting for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Completions Assistant to join a well-established and employee-owned law firm in Burgess Hill on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone immediately available and looking for a busy, fast-paced temp role within a supportive Residential Property team. There is also potential for the role to become permanent for the right person.
Key Duties: *Managing completions and post-completion processes
*Preparing completion statements
*Requesting and handling mortgage advance monies
*SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
*Carrying out pre-completion checks
*Liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents, and solicitors
*Supporting shared ownership transactions
What We’re Looking For: *Previous residential conveyancing experience
*Experience handling completions/post completions
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*Knowledge of SDLT and Land Registry procedures
*Ability to hit the ground running in a busy environment
