Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and adaptable Maths Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Chorley, supporting pupils aged 6-16. The role involves delivering a broad, differentiated curriculum across all subjects, tailored to meet a wide range of special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities*Plan and deliver engaging, adapted lessons across core and foundation subjects

*Teach pupils across primary and secondary age ranges with varying needs and abilities

*Implement and review EHCP targets and personalised learning plans

*Create a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

*Assess, track, and report pupil progress

*Work collaboratively with TAs, SENCOs, and external professionals

*Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development

Requirements*QTS/QTLS (essential)

*Proven experience teaching pupils with SEN

*Strong understanding of needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties

*Ability to deliver across multiple subjects and adapt teaching effectively

*Calm, nurturing approach and strong classroom management skills

*Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
