We are working with a leading investment management firm looking for an experienced Senior Manager to take ownership of Third Party Risk Management across their European business.
This is a high-impact role, focused on strengthening the control environment, enhancing frameworks, and ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory requirements. You will work closely with global teams while acting as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders across the region.
Key responsibilities:
*Lead the development, enhancement, and ongoing oversight of the European Third Party Risk Management framework
*Design and implement robust control processes to identify, assess, and mitigate third party risk
*Partner with procurement and other key functions to ensure a consistent and effective oversight strategy
*Build strong relationships across business lines to drive governance, accountability, and awareness
*Identify control gaps and implement improvements to strengthen the overall risk framework
*Engage with regulators where required, acting as a subject matter expert
*Deliver training and coaching to first line teams to embed best practice and improve capability
*Promote a culture of continuous improvement, enhancing efficiency and simplifying processes
*Collaborate across the three lines of defence to minimise duplication and disruption
Requirements:
*Significant experience within third party risk, supplier oversight, or operational risk
*Proven leadership experience within a risk or control function
*Strong background in asset management or financial services
*Demonstrated experience building and embedding risk frameworks aligned with European regulation
*Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across a matrix organisation
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
*Ability to coach and develop teams, driving capability uplift
