Job Description:
A leading London-based bank is seeking a Transformation PMO Lead to play a pivotal role in establishing and driving its Transformation Management Office. This will be an initial 9-12 month FTC with the view to go permanent.
This is a unique opportunity to shape and embed a strategic transformation function from the ground up. The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach, working across the organisation to design and implement value streams that support key business initiatives.
The transformation agenda spans technology refresh and enablement, platform modernisation, AI, cultural change, and continuous improvement. You will partner closely with senior leadership, helping to define strategy and guide the organisation through a significant period of change.
Key responsibilities include:
*Establishing and embedding the Transformation Management Office framework
*Driving benefits tracking, governance, and coordination across multiple initiatives
*Leading cross-functional programmes and supporting delivery across technology and business teams
*Building, mentoring, and developing a high-performing PMO team
*Promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
The ideal candidate will bring:
*Proven experience within multiple transformation environments
*Strong PMO leadership capabilities, with hands-on delivery experience
*Expertise in benefits realisation, programme governance, and stakeholder management
*The ability to operate across multiple roles in a dynamic, evolving environment
*Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
