Job Description:
Full job descriptionA well-established healthcare organisation delivering community-based clinical services across North Yorkshire is seeking an experienced and proactive Administrative Assistant to join its Clinical Services team.
This is a varied and fast-paced role offering the opportunity to support a growing service and work closely with operational, governance, and project support colleagues. The successful candidate will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of services while contributing to continuous improvements and service development.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Clinical Services team
*Support meetings through minute-taking, action tracking, and follow-up coordination
*Maintain professional and confidential communication with colleagues, patients, and external stakeholders
*Carry out general office duties including filing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry
*Assist with ordering consumables and researching equipment requirements
*Support governance and compliance activities, including audits and mandatory training monitoring
*Help coordinate information from multiple service locations
*Contribute to service improvement initiatives and evolving operational processes
*Travel occasionally across the local service area to support operational delivery

*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*Able to prioritise workloads effectively in a busy environment
*Flexible and willing to support a variety of administrative functions
*Professional and confident handling confidential information
*A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
*Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team
Skills & Experience
*Previous administration experience within a busy office or healthcare environment
*Confident using Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word, and Outlook
*Full UK driving licence and access to transport for occasional travel between sites
*Experience or confidence using Canva
