Are you an experienced Early Years professional looking for a rewarding leadership role with family-friendly hours?
We are currently recruiting for a Preschool Manager to lead the day-to-day running of a welcoming preschool setting based in Stanford-le-Hope, Thurrock.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and organised childcare professional with previous leadership experience within an Early Years setting.
Working Hours
* Tuesday: 9:00am – 2:30pm
* Wednesday: 9:00am – 2:30pm
* Thursday: 9:00am – 2:30pm
* Friday: 9:00am – 3:45pm Salary & Benefits
* £14.00 per hour
* Term-time only position
* Supportive and friendly working environment Preschool Manager Responsibilities
* Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the preschool
* Leading and supporting staff within the setting
* Ensuring the setting remains compliant with EYFS and safeguarding requirements
* Maintaining high standards of childcare, learning, and development
* Supporting children’s learning through a safe and nurturing environment
* Building positive relationships with parents, carers, and outside professionals
* Managing planning, observations, and general administration Requirements
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years
* Minimum 2 years’ leadership or management experience within a nursery or preschool setting
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and early education
