*Location: Ipswich, UK
*Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (6 months)
*Salary: Up to £13.45 per hour
Join a leading provider in the commercial coffee solutions sector as an Accounts Receivable Assistant on a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to a strong team culture. As an Accounts Receivable Assistant, you will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring top-notch customer service.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Maintain the accounts receivable ledger accurately, including checking revenue and recording before ledger close, and reviewing and correcting product codes for reporting accuracy.
*Calculate and issue manual invoices to customers.
*Handle customer refunds, ensuring adherence to correct processes and posting onto the customer account within the ERP system.
*Create and maintain reconciliation schedules for rebates and recharges.
*Manage the direct debit process monthly for the UK and Ireland.
*Oversee the credit note customer dispute process.
*Respond to customer calls and emails, and take payments where required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Numeracy skills and a desire to work within a finance function; experience in accounts receivable is advantageous.
*Knowledge of good customer service practices.
*Proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Ability to manage and prioritise own workload, highly organised.
*High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
*Positive, ’can do’ attitude.
*Responsive, with a service-driven approach to deliver the ’wow’ factor.
*Good team player.
