The Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Manager to lead operations at their site in Cheetham Hill, Manchester.
This is a key role within the business, responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, managing staff, and ensuring efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods. The successful candidate will bring a hands-on approach, strong organisational skills, and the ability to drive operational efficiency within a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities
*Overseeing all day-to-day warehouse operations
*Managing, supervising, and motivating warehouse staff
*Ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
*Implementing and maintaining effective stock control processes
*Conducting regular stock takes and ensuring inventory accuracy
*Optimising warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency
*Ensuring garments are handled and stored to a high standard
*Maintaining health & safety standards and compliance at all times
*Liaising with internal teams regarding stock levels, orders, and deliveries
*Monitoring performance and identifying areas for improvement
Candidate Requirements
*Proven experience in a Warehouse Manager or senior warehouse role
*Experience within clothing, textiles, or retail environments is highly desirable
*Strong leadership and team management skills
*Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
*Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
*Good IT skills, including experience with stock management systems
*Knowledge of health & safety regulations within a warehouse setting
*Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
*A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
*Right to work in the UK
