The Role & ResponsibilitiesAs an ECT of History, you will:
*Deliver high-quality, engaging, and rigorous History lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with opportunities for Key Stage 5 for the right candidate).
*Foster a love of historical inquiry, critical thinking, and debate among students of all abilities.
*Use data-driven insights to track student progress and implement effective interventions.
*Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular clubs, trips, and humanities events.
What We Are Looking For*A dedicated professional holding (or currently working toward) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*A strong degree in History or a closely related discipline.
*A passion for teaching and an ability to challenge, motivate, and inspire young people.
*Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
*A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
