Bishops Stortford | Full Time | 12-Month FTC
I’m currently recruiting on behalf of my client who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant on a full-time, 12-month Fixed Term basis.
This is a fully office-based role offering a varied opportunity within a busy and fast-paced finance team. The successful candidate will ideally be part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) and have previous experience within a management accounting or general finance role.
The Role:
*Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting month-end processes
*Completing bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
*Supporting purchase and sales ledger functions where required
*Assisting with accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
*Maintaining accurate financial records and updating accounting systems
*Supporting cashflow monitoring and daily banking activities
*Assisting with financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions
*Supporting year-end processes and audit preparation
*Providing general support across the finance department
Essential Skills and Experience*Part-qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, ACA, QBE, or equivalent).
*Proven experience working with European entities
*Experience with VAT Return and Trial Balance preparation
*Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
*Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS)
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
