Job Description:
Full job descriptionThe One Group are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a successful & established business in Peterborough on a full time, 14 month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.
This company are one of the leaders within their field, which makes it a great opportunity to join a business who are consistently growing & pushing themselves to be better.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Hybrid working available after initial training period
Responsibilities:
*Reconciliation between systems, understanding and escalating any issues
*Reconciliation of accounts, issuing cheques & refunds and reconciling payments received
*Supporting monthly financial reporting , with completion of bank reconciliations
*Posting journals and assisting with balance sheet reconciliations
*Process employee expenses and supplier invoices & supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable
Requirements:
*Able to start within a couple of weeks
*Experience within a similar finance operations role
*Strong communication skills & robust financial controls
Benefits:
*£28,000-£33,000 per annum (depending on experience)
*Bonus scheme (profit sharing)
*Hybrid working available after initial training period
*25 days holiday + bank holidays
