The Opportunity

Join a globally recognised heavy equipment manufacturer supporting critical construction and quarry operations across the UK.

This is a home-based Field Service Engineer role, covering the Bristol region, where you’ll take ownership of your day, travelling directly from home to customer sites. You’ll be working on a range of high-value plant machinery, playing a key role in keeping essential equipment operational.

With a team of just 12 engineers nationwide, this is a close-knit, specialist environment where your contribution is visible and valued.


The Role

*Carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on heavy plant equipment
*Working across electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
*Managing your own workload – typically 1 to 3 jobs per day depending on complexity
*Attending customer sites including quarries, construction, and infrastructure projects
*Occasional overnight stays as required
*Ensuring high standards of safety and customer service at all times


What We’re Looking For

*NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Engineering (or equivalent)
*Valid CSCS Card
*Proven experience in fault finding and maintenance
*Strong knowledge of:*Hydraulics
*Electrical systems
*Mechanical systems

*Full UK Driving Licence
*Comfortable working independently in a field-based role


Desirable (Not Essential)
*Quarry Passport
*HS2 Site Card
