Description
*Process and review supplier invoices and employee expenses, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
*Maintain accurate, up-to-date accounts payable records across multiple entities.
*Perform supplier reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
*Prepare and support timely payment runs, collaborating with internal teams.
*Assist with month-end activities, including reconciliations and reporting support.
*Maintain organised documentation and audit-ready records.
*Respond to vendor queries professionally and build strong relationships.
*Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency in a high-volume environment.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Specialist should have:
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable within a financial services or similar environment.
*AAT Level 2 (or higher) qualification.
*Strong understanding of accounting principles, including VAT.
*Experience working in high-volume, multi-entity environments.
*Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Clear communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
