We are now recruiting for a Production Operative to join a fantastic manufacturing company based in central Crediton. You will join a team that specialise in confectionary products and distribute throughout the UK.
Working within their production department, you will be joining a department which is key in the supply chain of their produce ready for dispatch. The role does demand accuracy, accountability and reliability with a key eye for attention.
The role of a Production Operative is varied with duties including:
*Manufacturing confectionery products using traditional methods
*Following written instructions
*Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and packed
*Reporting any damaged / defective products
*Working to packing deadlines
*Closely working between production, packing and despatch departments
*Operating equipment/machinery
*Ensure machinery is cleaned to a high standard
*Manual Handling/ Heavy lifting will be required
Production Operative Requirements:
*Ability to work well as part of a team and also independently
*Positive can-do attitude
*Works hard to meet deadlines in a timely manner
*Able to reliably get to site for shift times
Working hours and pay rates:
Mon-Thu 05:45 – 14:15, Fri 05:45 – 13:15
