SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary SEN School - Bolton
Start Date: September 2026
We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming primary SEN school in Bolton from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and committed individual who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential.
The Role:*Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position
*Supporting primary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, SEMH, MLD and communication difficulties
*Working closely with the class teacher and wider SEN team
*Providing 1:1 and small group support
*Assisting with behaviour management and pupil engagement
*Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:*Previous experience working within an SEN school setting is essential
*Experience supporting children with additional needs
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
*A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
