Maths Teacher - Secondary SEMH School - Bolton
Start Date: September 2026
We are seeking a passionate and resilient Maths Teacher to join a dedicated secondary SEMH school in Bolton from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist setting, supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to achieve both academically and personally.
The Role:*Full-time Maths Teacher position
*Teaching Maths across Key Stages within a secondary SEMH setting
*Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
*Supporting pupils to develop confidence, resilience and positive learning behaviours
*Working closely with support staff, parents and external professionals
*Creating a safe, structured and supportive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
*Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
*Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships
*Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs or within alternative provision is desirable
*A patient, flexible and nurturing approach
*A genuine commitment to helping young people overcome barriers to learning
