The Role - Sports Mentor
A specialist SEMH/SEN school in Barking is seeking a proactive and energetic Sports Mentor to join their team ASAP. As a Sports Mentor, you will use sport and physical activity as a tool to engage students who may struggle in a traditional classroom setting.
The successful Sports Mentor will work on a 1:1 and small group basis, supporting students with behaviour, emotional regulation, and participation in learning. You will also support PE sessions, lead activities, and help students build confidence, teamwork, and resilience.
Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach are essential for this role.
