Full job descriptionWe are recruiting for an experienced Transport Planning Manager to join a well-established and growing business within the logistics and supply chain sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with transport planning or haulage coordination experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives on organisation, problem solving, and operational efficiency.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing daily transport operations, coordinating haulage activities, monitoring fleet movements, and ensuring deliveries and stock transfers are completed efficiently across multiple sites.
You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and external hauliers to ensure smooth day-to-day logistics operations.
Key Duties
*Transport and haulage planning
*Fleet tracking and scheduling
*Coordinating stock transfers and collections
*Managing logistics planners and transport schedules
*Liaising with suppliers, customers, and third-party hauliers
*Resolving transport issues and delays proactively
*Supporting operational efficiency and service delivery
About You
*Previous transport planning or logistics experience
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
*Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
*Positive and proactive approach
*SAP knowledge advantageous but not essential
