Role OverviewWe are seeking an immediately available Management Accountant to join our team on a 3-month temporary contract. This is a hands-on role based fully onsite in Cannock, requiring a candidate who can quickly integrate into the team and operate with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities*Full ownership of the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
*Preparation of management accounts with supporting analysis
*Variance analysis and commentary for key stakeholders
*Balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies
*Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities where required
*Ensuring financial data accuracy and adherence to internal controls
*Liaising with finance and non-finance stakeholders as needed
Candidate Requirements*Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent experience
*Proven experience managing the full month-end process independently
*Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
*Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
*Confident communicator with a proactive approach
*Must be immediately available
Additional Information*5 days per week onsite in Cannock (non-negotiable)

*Competitive day rate aligned to a £40K-£50K permanent equivalent salary
