Contract: Temporary (ASAP – 17th July)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm
About the Role
We are currently supporting a School in Birmingham with the recruitment of a Temporary Receptionist to provide front-of-house and administrative support for the remainder of the summer term.
This is a busy and rewarding role within a special educational needs (SEN) setting, requiring a confident and organised individual who can manage a varied workload and provide a welcoming first point of contact.
Key Responsibilities
*Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff
*Managing incoming calls, emails, and enquiries professionally
*Supporting general administrative duties and office organisation
*Updating and maintaining records using Arbor (essential)
*Ensuring safeguarding and visitor procedures are followed
*Working effectively in a fast-paced, front-of-house environment
Requirements
*Previous experience in a school receptionist or admin role
*Strong working knowledge of Arbor (essential)
*Ideally experience within a SEN or specialist school setting
*Excellent customer service and communication skills
*Ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment
*Available to work 8:00am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
