Full job descriptionArcas is working with a growing IT consultancy that delivers onsite technical services to a wide range of clients across London. They’re looking for a hands-on Technology Team Lead to take ownership of day to day technical operations, lead a small team, and act as the escalation point during high-pressure situations.
This role is ideal for someone who has stepped up as a team lead or senior engineer within an IT or network support environment and enjoys being the person people rely on when things get busy.
What you’ll be doing
*Leading and coordinating a small technical team across client sites
*Acting as the senior escalation point for IT and network issues
*Troubleshooting WiFi, switching, connectivity and infrastructure problems
*Prioritising and managing incidents in fast-moving environments
*Working closely with clients, stakeholders and vendors
*Ensuring smooth technical delivery during peak periods
*Taking ownership of issues and guiding others through resolution
What we’re looking for
*Experience as an IT Team Lead, Senior IT Engineer, Network Support Lead, Senior Field Engineer, or similar
*Strong grounding in networking fundamentals (WiFi, switches, VLANs, DHCP/DNS, patching)
*Someone who stays calm, clear and decisive under pressure
*Confident communicator who can coordinate people and manage expectations
*Hands-on problem solver who enjoys being the go-to person
*Comfortable working onsite in dynamic, sometimes high-pressure environments
