Reed Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Doncaster for the full academic year starting September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering outstanding learning experiences and making a real impact in Key Stage 1.
The Role
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:
*Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the KS1 National Curriculum
*Demonstrate strong knowledge and confident delivery of Read Write Inc (RWI) phonics
*Support pupils in their transition from EYFS to KS1
*Maintain high expectations of behaviour and implement effective behaviour management strategies
*Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and drive pupil progress
*Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
*Contribute fully to school life and bring a proactive, ’get stuck in’ attitude
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1
*Strong understanding and experience delivering RWI phonics
*Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
*A passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning
*A reliable, committed, and enthusiastic approach
*A willingness to fully integrate into the school community
