We’re working on a confidential opportunity for an Interim Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team during an exciting transition period. This is a 9-month fixed-termcontract with strong potential to become permanent.
This is a hands-on role supporting both Accounts Payable and AccountsReceivable/Treasury, ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Process invoices accurately and within deadlines
*Ensure correct approvals and match invoices to purchase orders
*Resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier/customer queries
*Reconcile supplier statements and customer accounts
*Check VAT is accounted for correctly
*Reconcile daily credit card receipts and investigate variances
Additional Duties:
*Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
*Perform bank reconciliations
*Support cash collection activities
*Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve finance queries
*Produce ad hoc reports as required
About You:
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in a finance/accounts role
*Exposure to balance sheet reconciliations
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Intermediate Excel skills
*Positive, flexible, and proactive approach
