Job Description:
Morgan McKinley is working with an SME type business based in Brighton. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant who will carry out everyday transactional accounting, supporting with month-end, accruals, accounts payable invoicing, supplier setup and reconciliations.
Salary: £28-32K
Location: Brighton, East Sussex - hybrid working - 3 days office
Accounts Assistant duties:
*Processing invoices
*Preparing the monthly payment run for suppliers
*Bank account and credit card reconciliations
*Accounts payable and accounts receivable
*Supporting with month end and audits
*Balance sheet reconciliations
Skills and experience:
*Proven experience working in a similar Finance Assistant - Accounts Assistant role within an SME environment
*Excellent communication skills
*Good IT skills - MS Excel and accounting systems such as; Xero
