5 Month Contract
We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join a dedicated Adults & Families service based in Truro. This is a rewarding opportunity supporting vulnerable adults within a community-focused environment.
Please note there will be an expectation to cover additional schemes across Cornwall, therefore applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
The Role
*Supporting individuals with a variety of support needs
*Delivering person-centred support and support planning
*Risk assessing and managing challenging situations
*Maintaining accurate records and case notes
*Lone working as well as working collaboratively within a team
*Building positive relationships with service users and partner agencies
Requirements
*Experience within support work, housing support, social care or similar settings
*Understanding of support planning and risk management
*Strong communication and rapport-building skills
*Confident using IT systems and maintaining accurate records
*Resilient, adaptable and able to work under pressure
*Flexible approach to shifts including lates, weekends and bank holidays
*Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Additional Information
*Rolling 5-week rota pattern
*Enhanced DBS required
*Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the contract
*This role is not eligible for sponsorship/CoS
