Full job descriptionWe are seeking an experienced and proactive fully qualified Accounts Senior to join our clients growing practice. This role will involve managing a portfolio of clients, preparing accounts to partner review stage, and delivering a high level of client service.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare year-end statutory accounts and management accounts to partner review stage for a portfolio of clients with turnovers ranging from £1m to £10m, with minimal supervision.
*Complete Corporation Tax computations accurately and efficiently.
*Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements.
*Manage self-assessment tax returns for individual clients.
*Act as a key point of contact for clients, handling day-to-day queries and providing timely, professional advice.
*Review draft financials and:
*Identify variances between periods
*Provide clear explanations for fluctuations
*Escalate queries to partners where necessary
*Ensure all work is completed within deadlines and in compliance with relevant regulations and internal standards.
*Support junior staff where required and contribute to team collaboration
