Job Description:
MIG/TIG WELDER > FABRICATOR > MON-FRI > KIRKBY AREA
We are currently recruiting MIG Welders to join our client located in L33, Kirkby area. These roles are long-term opportunities. Immediate start dates are available.
Weld tests available immediately
Pay rate: £14/hour, with pay review and potential increase after a probationary period.
Hours:
*Monday–Thursday: 06:00 – 15:00
*Friday: 06:00 – 12:00
Responsibilities
*MIG/TIG welding various materials, predominantly stainless steel and aluminium.
*Jig work
*Basic fabrication duties
*Bulk of work is on 1mm to 4mm, but can range up to 20mm
*Comply with health and safety regulations
Qualifications / Requirements
*Previous welding experience is essential
*Must be able to correctly set-up own welding machine for the various works required
*Good English (reading / verbal) is required
*Comfortable working on your feet in a fast paced environment
*Own transport is essential
The position begins as a temporary assignment, with the possibility of longer-term employment
