Do you have experience working with a range of agricultural/horticultural machinery?
If so we would love to hear from you.
Our client, an established family-run business, are looking for an experienced mechanic to assist in the servicing and repair of small to mid-sized farming/horticultural equipment.
As an Agricultural Engineer you will join a workshop team providing service, maintenance, and repair solutions for a range of tractors, mowers, sprayers, woodchippers, forestry and stone crushing machinery as well as garden machinery.
Your key responsibilities will include:
*Service, repair, and diagnose faults on agricultural machinery.
*Conduct pre-delivery inspections and ensure machinery is ready for use.
*Use diagnostic tools
*Collect and return equipment from clients
*Maintain customer relationships.
You will need:
*Experience in agricultural/horticultural machinery repair (e.g; tractors, self-propelled mowers, chippers, and chainsaws)
*Strong mechanical background
*Strong communication and IT skills
*Own hand tools
*Driving licence**
**You will need a driving licence/vehicle to access the semi-rural location and to collect/return machinery to client sites
Hours of Work
*Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
*Optional overtime on a Saturday to meet business needs
