Full job description Management Accountant | Outskirts of Maidstone / Hybrid | Paying £45k - £50k DOE
Cobb & Jones are pleased to be working with a well-established, industry leading, organisation to appoint a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a broad, hands-on role and wants to play a key part in supporting business performance through high-quality financial insight.
The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely management information, partnering with key stakeholders across the business, and ensuring strong financial controls are in place. This is a varied position that combines reporting, analysis, and business partnering.
Key Responsibilities:
*Preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts
*Providing clear commentary and analysis on performance vs budget, forecast, and prior year
*Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process
*Maintaining strong balance sheet controls and reconciliations
*Identifying and driving process improvements across finance and the wider business
*Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with financial controls
*Acting as a key finance contact for operational and commercial stakeholders
About You:
*Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent experience
*Proven experience in management accounting or a similar role
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insight
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
*Good Excel skills and experience with finance systems
