TSR Legal are pleased to be working with an award-winning residential property law firm that is continuing to expand its highly regarded conveyancing team in Gloucester.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic Paralegal to join a modern, fast-paced, and supportive property team with genuine long-term career development opportunities.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced Fee Earners within a collaborative and service-driven environment, assisting on a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, and remortgages.
You will be supported by a wider team of Fee Earners, Legal Assistants, and Property professionals while gaining valuable hands-on experience within a respected and growing firm.
Key Responsibilities
*Assisting with the management of residential sale and purchase transactions under supervision
*Handling your own caseload of files with appropriate support and oversight
*Updating clients, introducers, and third parties on the progress of matters
*Raising and responding to enquiries
*Reviewing and interrogating legal documentation and responses
*Preparing detailed reports for clients
*Assisting with pre-exchange, exchange, and completion matters
*Ensuring exceptional levels of client care and service delivery at all times
*Maintaining files accurately and ensuring matters progress efficiently
The Ideal Candidate
*Previous experience within a law firm environment, ideally within residential conveyancing or property law
*Understanding of the residential sales, purchases, and remortgage process
*Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
*Comfortable working within a fast-paced, client-focused environment
*Able to manage workloads effectively and work under pressure
*Competent using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Qualifications
*GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths essential
*Law degree (ideally 2:1 or above) or equivalent legal qualification desirable, though not essential
