Job Description:
Civils Site Manager -Location:Sunderland
Pay: £260-£270/day
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Main PurposeManage specialist civil engineering works on a live industrial recycling site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and in line with CDM Regulations 2015.
Core Responsibilities*Oversee:*Concrete floor replacement
*Sub-base excavation/rebuilds
*Drainage works
*Groundworks and infrastructure upgrades
*Reinforced concrete/hardstanding works
*Manage subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials
*Ensure compliance with:*CDM Regulations 2015
*RAMS
*Permit-to-work systems
*Temporary works procedures
*Run daily safety inspections, toolbox talks, and progress tracking
*Coordinate works within a live operational industrial environment
*Produce reports and maintain compliance/site documentation
Essential Experience*Civil engineering or industrial infrastructure project management
*Strong health & safety/CDM knowledge
*Contractor supervision in live operational sites
*Groundworks, drainage, reinforced concrete experience
Required Certifications*SMSTS
*CSCS Manager Card
*First Aid at Work

This role is essentially a hands-on civils delivery and H&S leadership position for industrial infrastructure upgrades within an active recycling facility.
