Full job descriptionAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced IFA Administrator to join a professional and friendly financial services firm in the heart of Shrewsbury.
The CompanyOur client is a well-established Independent Financial Advisory firm, providing clear and tailored financial advice to individuals, families, and businesses to help secure their financial future.
The RoleThis office-based role will support Financial Advisors with a range of administrative duties, ensuring smooth client service and compliance standards are maintained. Full-time and part-time hours are available.
Key Responsibilities*Providing administrative support to Financial Advisors
*Processing new business applications including pensions, investments, and protection
*Liaising with providers, platforms, and clients for updates and information
*Maintaining accurate client records and CRM systems
*Handling client queries professionally and efficiently
*Managing appointments and advisor diaries
*Assisting with compliance and FCA requirements
*Supporting clients through onboarding and review processes
About You*Previous experience in an IFA or financial services administration role is essential
*Good understanding of pensions, investments, and protection products
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*Confident communication and interpersonal skills
*Experience with CRM/back-office systems such as Intelligent Office or Adviser Office
*Able to work independently and within a team
*Financial services qualifications (or working towards them) are advantageous
