Description
*Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
*Maintain and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded.
*Manage month-end and year-end closing processes effectively and efficiently.
*Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
*Monitor cash flow and provide regular financial updates to management.
*Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external auditors as required.
*Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.
*Support the wider Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks.
Profile
A successful Company Accountant should have:
*A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
*Proven experience in financial reporting and general ledger management.
*Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
*Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
