About the Role
Our client, a well-established Freight Forwarding and Logistics company, is currently seeking an experienced Export Operations Clerk to join their busy operations team based in the Felixstowe area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous sea freight Export or Import experience who is looking to join a professional and supportive environment where they can further develop their operations experience across the export process.




What you’ll do:
*Handling sea freight Export shipments from start to finish
*Preparing and processing Export documentation and customs paperwork
*Coordinating deliveries and liaising with hauliers and shipping lines
*Monitoring vessel arrivals and shipment progress
*Supporting customers with shipment updates and operational queries
*Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth shipment handling
*Assisting with general operational and administrative duties as required




What you need:
*Minimum 2 years’ experience within freight forwarding Exports or Imports
*Good understanding of Export or Import documentation
*Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
*A reliable and detail-focused approach to work
*Ability to work effectively within a team environment
