Location: South East London
Salary: £27,000 – £35,000 basic (DOE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-driven Property Inspector / Inventory Clerk to join a highly respected independent Estate Agency covering South East London. This role is ideal for an organised and proactive property professional with strong experience in inspections, inventories, and property reporting.
This is a varied and hands-on position where you will take ownership of property inspections, inventory reporting, and check-out processes, ensuring all properties are accurately recorded and maintained to a high standard.
Role Overview
As a Property Inspector / Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for carrying out detailed property inspections, producing accurate inventory reports, and managing check-in and check-out documentation. You will play a key role in ensuring all property records are compliant, thorough, and professionally presented.
This Property Inspector / Inventory Clerk role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisation, and the ability to work independently while managing a busy diary across multiple properties.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out detailed property inspections across managed properties
• Produce accurate inventory reports prior to tenants moving in
• Conduct mid-term inspections and report on property condition
• Complete thorough check-out inspections with detailed documentation
• Maintain clear and accurate property records and reports
• Manage and organise your own diary efficiently
• Liaise with tenants, landlords, and property managers where required
• Ensure all inspection reports are completed to a high standard and within deadlines
• Support general office administration relating to property inspections and records
Requirements
• Previous experience as a Property Inspector / Inventory Clerk or within Property Management
• Strong experience carrying out property inspections and producing reports
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident working independently and managing workload
• Strong written communication skills for report writing
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Professional, reliable, and detail-focused approach
