Our client are a precision engineering company supporting the motorsport (F1), aerospace, and medical sectors. We’re looking for a driven Trainee Quality Engineer eager to build a long-term career in quality and precision engineering.
What You’ll Be Doing*Supporting AS9100 quality compliance
*Assisting with internal audits and documentation updates
*Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections using:
*Verniers, micrometers, height gauges
*CMM equipment (full training provided)
*Recording inspection data and ensuring full traceability
*Assisting with non-conformance investigations and CAPA
*Supporting continuous improvement activities
*Helping prepare FAIRs, inspection reports, and quality metrics
What You’ll Bring*Basic engineering or manufacturing understanding
*Strong attention to detail
*Good communication and organisation
*Microsoft Office skills
*A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude
Key Details*Salary: £13–£14 per hour
*Hours: 39 per week + overtime
*Start Date: ASAP
