6-Month Fixed-Term Contract
About the Opportunity-
A well-established London-based law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support its Property Litigation and Leasehold team on a fixed-term basis.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of contentious property matters and would suit a candidate with prior litigation or property law experience who is looking to work within a collaborative and fast-paced legal environment.
The Role-
You will support a team of fee earners across a varied caseload involving property litigation and leasehold matters. Responsibilities are expected to include:
*Liaising with Courts and Tribunals
*Assisting with case management and procedural deadlines
*Preparing and filing Court and Tribunal documentation
*Supporting disclosure exercises and evidence preparation
*Assisting with witness statements, exhibits, and hearing bundles
*Drafting notices, correspondence, and standard applications
*Conducting legal and Land Registry research
*Obtaining and summarising title documentation
*Supporting file opening, compliance, and client due diligence processes
*Assisting with client communications and drafting correspondence
*Preparing costs schedules and related documentation
About You-
Applicants should ideally have:
*A minimum of 2 years’ Paralegal experience
*Experience within litigation, property litigation, landlord and tenant, or leasehold matters
*Familiarity with Court procedures and case management processes
*Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
*The ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*A proactive and professional approach
*The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
*Confidence handling sensitive and confidential information
