The role of the Estimator - Steel Fabrication will involve:
*Estimating position dealing with a range of high quality fabricated structural and architectural steel
*Liaising with main client, installers, suppliers, and other external and internal stakeholders
*Obtaining prices of products from clients
*Reading and interpreting drawings to gain understanding of projects
*Producing detailed project quotations of developments for management to review
*Producing final quotations for clients and following up
*Responding to any queries and making amendments where required
*Respond to inbound enquiries via telephone and email
*Working on project sizes ranging between £10k - £1m
The ideal applicant will be Estimator - Steel Fabrication with:
*Must have estimating or technical estimating experience in the steel fabrication or related
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
*High levels of attention to detail
*Driven, ambitious, self-motivated and a positive attitude
*Capable of working in a fast paced environment
*Be able to commute or re-locate
