Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur client is a FTSE 250-listed financial services technology group, a market leader in the UK wrap platform space. The tax team is lean, high-calibre and works at the centre of the finance function.
This is an in-house Tax Specialist position, supporting the Group Tax Director across all aspects of group taxation for a listed financial services business. The role combines ownership of compliance across UK corporate tax, VAT, employment taxes and share schemes, with meaningful involvement in the group’s tax governance framework and process improvement agenda.

*Preparation and submission of Corporation Tax returns (essential),
*Desirable experience - quarterly VAT returns, Corporate Interest Restriction returns, PAYE Settlement Agreement returns and Share Scheme returns

*Forecasting and managing quarterly corporation tax instalment payments
*Preparing all annual tax computations, provisions and tax disclosures in the financial statements
*Supporting HMRC payment processing for payroll, pensions and share schemes
*Proactively reviewing the tax control environment and identifying improvements
Candidate can be full/ part qualified/ not qualified
