Macildowie are recruiting for a Temporary Accounts Assistant to support small finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking for a varied, hands-on role.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day transactional finance function and must be confident using Sage 50 and Sage Payroll.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
*Customer account reconciliations
*Preparing supplier payment runs
*Managing weekly ad hoc payroll processing
*Supporting credit control activities and chasing outstanding payments
*Invoice mapping and coding
*Completing bank reconciliations
*Assisting with general finance administration and ad hoc support across the team
Experience & Skills Required
*Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant or transactional finance role
*Working knowledge of Sage 50 and Sage Payroll is essential
*Confident with reconciliations, invoice processing, and payroll support
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
*Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
